Reporting to the Director of Market Planning, the Sr. Analyst,
Market Planning, Firehouse Subs oversees the analysis of
development results, forecasts, and strategic development plans
across Firehouse Subs US & Canada.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain detailed market-by-market succession and
development plans.
- Compile and analyze data to support analytics, modeling, and
cross-functional information exchange.
- Support origination pitch iterations to potential new
franchisees and investors.
- Lead preparation of weekly, biweekly, and quarterly
presentations on development performance for review by senior
management (Net Restaurant Growth Tracker, Closure Mitigations, New
Restaurant Performance).
- Lead strategic market planning analysis to support new
restaurant growth and generate potential action plans for existing
restaurants (remodel, closure, transfer, etc.).
- Own performance/sales prediction models forecasts and support
all necessary underlying BI data exchange with market planning
vendors and third-party software.
- Advance site selection methodology to identify favorable trade
areas for new Firehouse Subs locations, based on demographic
trends, demand drivers, and competitor activity.
- Support Business Development/Deals team to ensure new and
growing franchisees are provided concise development plans in terms
of geography and new restaurant targets.
- Interact with development team, assisting with various ad hoc
projects.Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in the fields of Business, Economics, Finance,
Geography, Data Science and/or Computer Science required or
equivalent experience.
- 2+ years relevant work experience.
- Demonstrates effective communication, influencing and
organizational skills.
- Demonstrates high level of analytical problem-solving
skills.
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, to include
formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and
present sales presentations and negotiate franchise
agreements.
- Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion
for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career
growth.
- Experience with data analytics tools (R, Python, Alteryx,
Tableau, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with GIS mapping tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, OpenStreetMap,
