The Neighborhoods Department is actively seeking a Labor Standards
and Construction Manager.

This position reports to the Community Development Assistant
Administrator and is responsible for the programming, planning,
supervising, and coordinating the activities of grant based federal
programs, City of Jacksonville HUD programs, and public facility
programs or projects. Sole responsibility for technical work in the
monitoring of federally funded construction projects for compliance
with federal and local procurement regulations, as well as the
federal labor standards act, laws, rules, regulations, and Section
3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The work
requires knowledge of federal labor standards, Davis Bacon and
Section 3 laws, rules, and regulations as they apply to
construction contracts and projects. Directs the work of others
involved in program or project functions and activities.

The budgeted annual salary for this position is $59,000. This is
not negotiable. If selected, would you be willing to accept this
position at this salary? (Civil Service positions have a 5%
increase after successfully completing probation.)

A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or
university is preferred. Do you have a bachelor's degree or higher?
