Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Statistical
Geneticist/Statistical Geneticist to extract insights from diverse
data sets.
Key Responsibilities
Design and interpret genetics studies using quantitative and binary
traits from large cohorts
Conduct integrative analysis of genetic and EHR data to support
clinical development
Communicate findings to internal teams and the broader scientific
community through presentations and publications
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
PhD in Statistical Genetics, Human Genetics, Computational Biology,
or related disciplines with 0-2 years of experience
Experience with QC, analysis, and interpretation of human genetics
data
Basic understanding of EHR data architecture and analytics
Proficiency in at least one major programming language (ideally
Python or R)
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and cloud computing
environments
