Job Description:
Law firm in the Orlando area is looking for a Billing
Coordinator. Please see details of the position below. Salary up to
50K. The firm offers full medical, dental, vision, and 401K plan.
Parking is also paid.
" Compile and bill attorney hours to clients on a monthly
basis.
" Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and secretary
requests.
" Execute complex bills in a timely manner (i.e., multiple
discounts by matter, split party billing, preparation of electronic
bills).
" Review and verify accuracy of high volume billing and supporting
documentation as required.
" Create and print final client billing.
" Utilize computerized accounting software programs to perform
duties and responsibilities.
" Operate office equipment including personal computer, copier, fax
machine and 10-key calculator.
Requirements:
" High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years of related experience.
Previous experience in a law firm environment required.
" Solid billing experience utilizing Elite Enterprise required. 3E
billing experience highly desirable.
" High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including a
strong working knowledge of Excel.
" Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle
sensitive information.
" Ability to organize work flow, utilize time efficiently, show
strong attention to detail and perform at a high level in a fast
paced ever changing work environment.
" Anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum
direction.
" Strong interpersonal communication skills necessary in order to
maintain effective relationships with attorneys and staff, as well
as external contacts, in person, by e-mail and telephone.
